The University of Limpopo is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a BankSETA Discretionary Grant aimed at supporting the settlement of historical student debt. This important funding is designated for graduates of 2024 and 2025, specifically those who were enrolled in programmes under the School of Accountancy, School of Economics, and the School of Mathematical and Computer Sciences.
In accordance with BankSETA requirements, the final submission deadline is 14 April 2026. The University is currently in the process of consolidating all necessary information to ensure full compliance. All stakeholders are kindly requested to cooperate by identifying eligible students within the specified schools and graduation years whose outstanding debt falls within BankSETA-funded disciplines. Accurate and complete submissions are essential to ensure that no portion of the grant is forfeited.
Affected students must complete and submit the Learner Agreement Form, accompanied by the following supporting documents:
- A certified copy of their ID
- Fee statement
- Academic record
- Latest results
