The University of Limpopo is proud to announce the 1st Regional Moringa Conference (RMC25), taking place from 22 – 25 October 2025 at The Ranch Resort, Polokwane. This landmark event is held under the theme: “Moringa: Africa’s Green Gold – Unlocking Health, Wealth and Sustainability.”
The conference will bring together students, researchers, farmers, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and other stakeholders across Sub-Saharan Africa to exchange knowledge, share expertise, and promote the sustainable use of Moringa. It will also celebrate individuals and organisations spearheading Moringa-related initiatives in the region.
Keynote speakers include Dr. Carrie Waterman (University of California, USA) and Prof. Hafiz Abdelgadír (Eldain University, Sudan), alongside Prof. Ashwell Ndhlala, who will host the conference on behalf of the University of Limpopo’s Green Biotechnologies & Innovation Labs.
The conference invites postgraduate students (Honours, Master’s, and Doctoral), postdoctoral researchers, and other Faculty researchers to be part of this remarkable event. Standard oral presentations and poster-linked presentations will be featured. The event will conclude with a gala dinner, where outstanding presentations in Honours, Master’s, and Doctoral categories will be recognised and awarded prizes.
