Call for Application: NRF Freestanding, Innovation and Scarce Skills Postdoctoral Fellowships 2023

The National Research Foundation (NRF) invites applicants from public universities in South Africa to apply for the 2023 Freestanding Innovation and Scarce Skills Postdoctoral Fellowships.

The fellowships are also open to candidates outside of South Africa, except for Scarce Skills Fellowships which are open to South African citizens and permanent residents only.

There will be a priority given to Science, Engineering, and Technology (SET) disciplines. The Fellowships awarded towards the SET domain will be 70-80% and between 20-30 % for the Social Sciences and Humanities.
