Department of Public Administration Public Lecture

The Department of Public Administration at the University of Limpopo cordially invites students, academics, practitioners, and the broader community to attend an insightful Public Lecture scheduled for 20 March 2026.

The lecture will take place from 10:00 to 16:00 at Auditorium 3 (Magoebaskloof Auditorium), Earth Science Building University of Limpopo. This academic engagement aims to foster critical dialogue on the evolving nature of public service in South Africa.

The event will feature a keynote address by Pinky Kekana, Deputy Minister of Public Service and Administration, who will share valuable insights under the theme:
“Professionalising the Public Service: Restoring State Capacity in a Changing South Africa.”

This lecture provides an important platform for engagement on governance, public sector reform, and capacity-building within the state. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of current challenges and opportunities in strengthening public administration in South Africa.
