The University of Limpopo is proud to host the Ministerial G20 Youth Outreach Programme on Friday, 26 June 2025, from 08:00 to 16:00 at the University Auditorium. This landmark event, themed “Advancing Inclusive Growth for Young People through Science, Technology and Innovation”, is a collaborative initiative driven by the Departments of Science and Innovation, Higher Education and Training, Basic Education, and Women, Youth and Persons with Disabilities, in partnership with the National Youth Development Agency (NYDA).
The programme will feature three engaging panel discussions focusing on grassroots innovation, human resource challenges in the science sector, and postgraduate research funding, each designed to elevate youth voices and experiences in national policy discourse.
In addition to thought-provoking conversations, the event will include exhibitions highlighting youth-led innovation and development initiatives. With the participation of local schools, youth organisations, interns, and national representatives, this gathering aims to amplify the role of young people in shaping an inclusive, knowledge-based future.
