UL visit Namibia on International Student Recruitment Drive: Undergraduate and Postgraduate

In alignment with the Southern African Development Community (SADC) Protocol on Education and Training, which encourages universities within SADC member states to allocate at least 5% of their enrolment to students from other SADC countries, the University of Limpopo, South Africa, is set to embark on an education trade mission to Namibia.

This initiative aims to build partnerships and recruit prospective students for both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, strengthening regional integration and cross-border knowledge exchange.

During this mission, University representatives will assist Namibian prospective students in selecting subjects aligned with their career aspirations, and postgraduate candidates will receive guidance to further their studies.

What to Expect:

  • Support with comparing O-Level and A-Level qualifications with South African APS/O-Level standards.
  • Guidance on study visa applications and renewals for both undergraduate and postgraduate studies.
  • Information on UL’s International Student Admission Requirements.
  • Details on SADC protocol provisions for international students at UL.
  • Assistance with applying for a SAQA and HESA certificate.
  • Comprehensive guidance on UL International Student fees (application and tuition).
  • Information on approved South African medical aid providers.
