The University of Limpopo’s Faculty of Management and Law is proud to host the 2nd International Conference (FMLIC) 2025, under the theme: “Finding Pathways through Economic, Justice and Responsible Leadership to Address the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the Digital Age.”
The conference will take place from 07 – 09 October 2025 at The Ranch Hotel, Polokwane, starting daily at 08:00. This gathering provides a vital platform for dialogue and scholarly exchange, addressing issues that are globally significant and nationally urgent.
The 2025 conference brings together leading academics, practitioners, and policymakers to interrogate pathways toward sustainable development, ethical leadership, and inclusive economic growth. With a focus on the intersection of justice, governance, and digital transformation, the sessions will explore how societies can achieve meaningful progress towards the SDGs while responding to complex challenges of our time.
We are honoured to welcome esteemed keynote speakers, including:

Dr Makoma Grace Makhurupetje, Speaker of the Limpopo Legislature,

Prof Richard Shambare, Dean of the Faculty of Management and Commerce, University of Fort Hare, and

Dr Mampho Modise, Deputy Governor of the South African Reserve Bank.
Over three days, participants will engage with thought-provoking keynote addresses, scholarly papers, and practical case studies spanning topics such as ethical leadership, accountability in public institutions, transformative economic systems, governance in a digital era, and the role of innovation and entrepreneurship in community empowerment. These discussions will not only advance academic knowledge but also speak directly to the lived realities of communities in South Africa, the broader African continent, and the world.
