The University of Limpopo Alumni community is on the move! We warmly invite all alumni to join us for a series of Elective Conferences and Annual General Meetings across South Africa and beyond. These events offer a unique opportunity to network, share ideas, and get actively involved in the growth of your alma mater.
With guest speakers and University services on hand, each gathering is more than just a meeting; it is a movement that connects, inspires, and celebrates the UL community.
Our exciting calendar of events includes:
The journey begins on Saturday, 18 October 2025, with the UL Limpopo Alumni and Convocation Elective Conference. This will be followed by the Gauteng Alumni and Convocation Elective Conference on Saturday, 1 November 2025, providing alumni in the region with an opportunity to reconnect and engage.
In Namibia, the Annual General Meeting will take place on Saturday, 08 November 2025, while Mpumalanga and the Kingdom of Eswatini will host their respective Elective Conference and Launch on Saturday, 15 November 2025. On Saturday, 22 November 2025, alumni in KwaZulu-Natal will gather for their Annual General Meeting, celebrating achievements and discussing the future.
The University of Limpopo also proudly celebrates the 50th anniversary of Optometry on Saturday, 29 November 2025, followed by the Alumni and Convocation Association Elective Conference on Friday, 5 December 2025.
The celebrations culminate with the Alumni and Convocation Farewell Gala Dinner on Saturday, 06 December 2025, a fitting finale to a season of connection, reflection, and celebration.
