Women’s Health Campaign: Student Health and Wellness

The University of Limpopo’s Student Health and Wellness Centre invites all students, staff, and members of the university community to participate in the Women’s Health Campaign, taking place on Thursday, 06 August 2026, at Tiro Hall and Tiro Foyer. This important initiative aims to promote women’s health and well-being by creating a platform where participants can gain practical knowledge, access valuable health information, and be inspired to make informed decisions that contribute to healthier and more empowered lives.

Held under the theme “Your Health, Your Power, Your Future and Your Responsibilities,” the campaign highlights the importance of prioritising personal health while recognising the role every woman plays in shaping a healthier future for herself, her family, and her community. Through expert presentations and engaging discussions, attendees will be encouraged to take ownership of their health and embrace positive lifestyle choices.

The programme will begin with an energising aerobics session from 09:00 to 09:30, followed by registration from 09:30 to 10:00, with the formal programme commencing at 10:00. Participants will have the opportunity to learn more about cancer and HIV awareness and prevention, disease prevention through healthy nutrition and lifestyle choices, and financial literacy, including practical ways to grow and manage personal finances.

Whether you are seeking health information, wellness advice, or inspiration to lead a healthier and more financially secure life, this campaign offers a valuable opportunity to learn from experts, engage with fellow participants, and invest in your overall well-being.
